Enjoy Mrs. Pruitt’s Gourmet CHA CHA Salsa with various beans, greens such as turnips, collards, kale, micro-greens, black-eyed peas, wraps, casseroles, on hot dogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers, pizza, pasta or with your favorite meal. Historically, it has been made from chopped green tomatoes (and other varieties), cabbage, onions, hot peppers, sweet peppers, and apple cider vinegar. Other ingredients may include cucumbers, celery or celery seed, carrots, beans, asparagus, corn and cauliflower. In some areas or parts of the country, CHA CHA or Chow Chow is made with large chunks of vegetables including carrots, celery, or green beans. Mrs. Pruitt’s Gourmet CHA CHA Salsa’s texture is slightly chunky. It is served cold, warm or right out of the jar.
